THESIS
Nadia Comaneci, a Romanian gymnast, was the first person to ever score a perfect ten in the Olympics. Nadia is a great leader and an inspiration to all young gymnasts because she changed the way women are thought of in gymnastics by entering a sport that was originally for men. She achieved nine Olympic medals and seven perfect scores. While some people believe that Nadia Comaneci did not deserve her perfect scores and that the judges made a mistake, she left her legacy on Olympic history. |
“Hard work has made it easy. That is my secret. That is why I win.” |

"I don't run away from a challenge because I am afraid. Instead, I run toward it because the only way to escape fear is to trample it beneath your feet." |
Nadia was a great leader. She accepted any challenge that came her way. She inspired young gymnasts to do the same.
